Encouraging Thoughts...
For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of the fools will destroy them: but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.

December???
Can you believe it is December??? Time flies way too fast! Kenna turns 5 years old on Thursday. WOW! We have been so blessed by this beautiful little girl, and can't believe we are already thinking about kindergarden! She loves going to preschool so I know she will love kindergarden, but I know she will miss her brother, since he will be in a different school for preschool. I will post pictures soon as I am of coarse blogging at work! No pictures here:) Merry Christmas to all of you!
Luke 2:10-12
And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger"

trick-or-treat at the farm
So I am officially crazy! I volunteered to watch my friends 2 little boys (age 18months and 3yrs) on top of my own 3 adorable kids (4,3 and 1). And I thought what fun the local kids farm is having a trick-or-treat day, we should do that! I took 5 kids under the age of 4 to the farm for candy! I did have a little help (Our friends Kieth and Tshaun brought their 2 kids along). It was fun, and really not as difficult as I thought and the kids LOVED it. Here are some pictures of or cuties!!

So I know I said I would post pictures of me after I ran, well here they are (yes almost a month later!) I finished and did not totally die, but I was definitely spent! I ran it in 2hours and 9mins... I was hoping to break the 2hour mark, but just missed! Oh well, it is a long way to run, so I am not disappointed! I ran with a couple of my friends from small group, so it made for a fun morning! I think in the future I will stick with the shorter races (5 and 10K's) Well enjoy the pictures!

summer
So I know it has been a long time since I blogged! I keep thinking I will upload my pictures and post them... Well that takes time : )) Some day I will get it done I promise! But I thought I would just update on our summer. It has been crazy, not doing to many big things but somehow the summer always goes by too fast. Kenna and Levi are starting preschool in the beginning of September so I have been trying to get out and go to the pool and the park as often as I can with them. (Plus... it helps with all the energy!) I am training to run half marathon... 13.1miles that is a long way! But I am excited and ready. The race is Sept 19th her in Fort Collins. I will post picts of that when I'm done so you can see how exausted I am! I will get pictures posted sometime this week of the last month or so, so you can see how much fun we've been having!

God is Good!
I went for a run yesterday with a friend from our bible study, Shanole. It was turning out to be a great run, filled with sunshine and fellowship. As we were running we came across one of the dads in our small group, on his bike. Initially we thought nothing of it, but when he came to a screeching hault, we knew something was up. His two little boys, Wyatt 3yrs old and Vrai 20months, had gotten out of their house and were missing. They found the little one quickly sitting on the trail a couple hundred feet from their house. But the 3yr old was nowhere to be found. Scary! As a mom, it was terrifying, not only was he missing, but the trail runs along a river! Anyway, I know God put us there at that time, to comfort our friend. After a quick prayer from the speedy return and saftey of their child we ran straight to her house to give our love and support. We searched for a while longer and after about 45mins of hime being missing, he was founds about a mile and a half away from their house on his bike. (No he didn't even seem fazed by the happenings of that morning!) Praise God he was safe and that he was not distracted by the water!
